Business Development and Sales Manager
A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development and Sales Manager. This position is to join a successful and growing Joinery business located in Preston.
Our client is looking for a pro-active sales manager. Every day is different at this busy company so the successful candidate will need to have the ability to think on their feet. Also they will need to be an excellent team player with the main aim to be growing and developing the business.
The successful candidate will be working alongside the Director of the company. Tasks include but are not limited to – networking, actively working on Sales targets to grow the business. Also relevant admin and paperwork, assisting the director of the day to day running of the business alongside developing the business from within.
You will have at least 2 years’ experience in Sales Management. You will need a proven track record as well as good knowledge of the Construction industry and be able to communicate well with Customers, Trades staff and suppliers. The ideal Sales manager will have excellent computer skills alongside Project Management experience. CAD design experience would be of an advantage but not essential. It is essential that the successful candidate will be able to work well on their own. The client needs someone to use their own initiative to ensure all tasks are completed within the allocated timeframe.
This is a full time permanent position, contracted to 40 hours per week Monday – Friday. Staff benefits include free staff parking, pension, holiday pay and Birthday off paid each year. Salary on offer is up to £30,000 depending on experience, with great career progression.
